Fishing Report

  Salmon fishing is still pretty good so far.We have been catching a lot of winter springs between 4 to 15 pounds.Secretary Island and the Sooke bluffs have been the top producing areas.Best fishing depths have been between 125 to 150ft. 3 1/2 inch coyote spoons have been working great the cop car, green and glow, and green and silver.Squirts in glow colors also have been working good.Halibut fishing is starting to pick up in the area.  There has been some brought in between 20 to 60lbs. Large  herring has been working good.

  Salmon fishing should be not too bad weights should be between 5 to 25lbs. March to the end of May are our best halibut months.  These guys will very in weight between 20 to 200lbs.
