Fishing Report

       Last week salmon fishing was excellent for Spring salmon we  limiting out just about every trip out last week .Weights range from 15lbs to 30lbs.  Otter Point and Secretary Island were the hot spots.Best fishing  depths were 50 ft  to 100 ft. Anchovies trolled in various glow teaser heads have been working great. For halibut Jordan River have been still producing some nice halibut weights have been between 20lbs and 60lbs. Herring has been working good.

                                                                                              June and July

          These months our excellent for catching large Chinook salmon weights for is guys  usually range from 15 to 40lbs. This year we also have  millions of Pink salmon passing through our area.  They usually start to show up around the end of June.  Excellent fighting fish for kids nonstop action when these guys show up.

                                                                                                      AUGUST           

        Out look for August, fisheries is predicting  a big return of  of  Chinook Salmon which is great news.Should be alot of nice size fish returning these guys should average around 20 to 50lbs.Also there is a good run of  Sockeye Salmon returning for August.There will be endless numbers of pink salmon running  through August also.

            Looks like  it will be in excellent month for big chinooks also ,and  the  arrival of  Northern Coho will start showing up in September which are excellent fighting fish these guys very from 8 to 15lbs
